Double Overtime Grill - Mount Vernon

I stopped by while passing through town and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious! I would definitely return. Thank you, Asia, for your outstanding service and for making my visit memorable!

I don't understand how anyone could rate this restaurant 3 stars or higher. The $27 ribeye steak was the worst I've had in years. It was so tough that I nearly had to unlock my jaw after trying to chew it, even though I ordered it medium. I really wanted to voice my complaint, but as usual, the service was lacking. I have a bit more respect for the industry since I've worked in a kitchen myself, so I refrained from saying anything. It would have been nice to provide them with some constructive feedback if only I could have found someone to speak to.

Honestly, I really thought this would be a top notch place being attached to a Hilton Hotel. If you?re looking for a place to grab a drink this place is okay. If you?re looking for a place to eat I would probably go elsewhere. The banquet seating is really uncomfortable as the cushion sinks down way to much which puts the table to high and the backs are straight up. As well, our food took over an hour to come out and the sides were cold. Probably won?t be back unless someone else is making the plans.

I don't know if they were just having an off not, seeings how they have some decent reviews, but the food was just basic. I felt like everything was poorly put together. I could have had a better tasting burger at McDonald's. There was nothing fresh about the salad and the chicken was dry/burnt. Definitely won't be coming back
