Denny's - Mount Vernon

Great service, nice people and good food.. the cook who worked while I was, is great...

If I'm going home after a busy trip, I want comfort food. For me, that's Denny's. It's not a chic restaurant, but I know what they offer and it will be at a reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and the food comes hot and fast. Your menu offers a nice selection and has something for everyone and it is a great place to go with the family. I love having breakfast every day. For me, my favorite is always moons above my hammy. Surprisingly, they also offer a large Hamburger who was chosen as the best Burger for the price in an informal team competition at work. While I traveled across the country, I met a few Dennys who were severely lacking in administration, but for the most part there are more good than bad. This was a great one and we're gonna stop again.

My first experience with Dennys was over five years ago. It was less than pleasing and open about price. After I had revisited this place in a mood, through the city towards Texas, my perspective went to Dennison's food. Maybe I was too fast to judge. Although it is next to a truck stop, the better because it welcomes all walks of life through its pearl gates. Inside, the wood 90s diner aesthetic is safe, the fashion interested. Even though my party of 11 (extended family and friends went at 10 a.m., they had immediately seated us together and took orders. The food was hot and extremely delicious (I ordered the Slam Burger with seasoned frits, as well as a mango smoothie. I've never cried to eat a burger. Perhaps the stress of the day under the jet lag had brought me down from the trip, but this burger raised me higher than I ever was (in a non-cannabis sense). Thank you, Dennison. The new team is great and precise with an order. my server and the cook were on points, my food came exactly as I wanted. I wish Denny would change the fake syrup they got either with a natural honey or the Canadian maple syrup. It is not healthy to consume High Corn Syrups n artificial stuff. It's a shame that I have to carry a 2oz bottle of syrup on my person to enjoy a few pancakes. High Corn Syrups/Aspartame were marked as rat poison in the 60-70's #GoFigure #SayNo2SyntheticFoods/GMOs

Wow!! Probably the best Denny’s I’ve been to in a long time. The cook is absolutely amazing. I’m a very picky eater and she made my food as good as if I made it at home. And my server was very pleasant and nice and on point. Fantastic experience. I will be making this a point to stop each and every time.
