Amato's Mount Vernon

My partner and I decided to try something new and adventurous, so we went to a restaurant that served wood-fired pizzas. I had never tried one before, but my partner said it was similar to others he had tried. I think it all comes down to personal taste. I ordered a pizza, as I usually do, and my partner did the same. We also tried the spinach artichoke appetizer, which was fantastic, and the salted caramel cheesecake, which was to die for. However, the highlight of the meal for me was the salted caramel White Russian cocktail - it was absolutely amazing! I ended up having two of them. Our waiter was very attentive and provided us with great recommendations, considering it was our first time there. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. And of course, we made sure to take photos of our clean plates at the end of the meal - a good indicator that we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

The pizza crust and sauce were very thin and lacked flavor, often tasting burnt from the wood-fired oven. The pepperoni was too thick and scarce. My friend enjoyed her meatball sub, but overall, I was disappointed. The restaurant was empty in the afternoon, and the waitress was friendly and efficient. However, I don't plan on returning, as the experience reminded me of a mediocre pizzeria.

The food was excellent, especially the wood-fired pizzas. The children devoured the artichoke dip. Although they seemed to be short-staffed, the servers were still able to provide great service. We will definitely be returning.

It's always a great place to eat. my wife and I go for date night, and we also bring the family other paints. service is always great. the waiting of the staff is always polite, friendly and timely. make one please and unhindered to download them to see their selection of craftsmen. As for eating, it's always at the top. there is a good choice for the children. they are proud of the pizza. if pizza is what they are looking for, the beats are fresh and plentiful. for my family are pasta and sauces the favorites on the menu. If they are looking for a great canoli, this is the place to get it. we love this place. many thanks to the staff that they care very much about us and every time we stop having great food.

WOW!!! Just had the most incredible gluten free/vegan pizza!! Even my carnivore husband loved it and his pasta entre as well! Amazing and we’ll be back … LOTS!! Also, our server, Kayla, was wonderful!! Professional, personable and efficient!! Highest recommendation!
