Great service, amazing food, and fair prices. What more could you want? The server says the menu changes, so we will definitely be back
Went here for dinner, and the service was great thoughtful, sincere, warm, and friendly not just your usual rote good service not to criticize restaurants that offer that. Little bit warm inside, but not terrible. The food was great we had shrimp grits and the fried chicken. We definitely plan on checking it out for brunch next. It's nice to have another neighborhood restaurant in the HyattsvilleMt. Rainier area
Excellent restaurant the staff were very attentive, upbeat and made me feel welcome.Started off with the sangria which was very unique and different loved it ! My meal was the shrimp and grits wonderful ! Ended with dessert bread pudding in the top three that I have ever eaten and I'm very particular about what I eat. Will return again very soon
We really enjoyed our dinner there last week. The waiters took the time to talk to us and explain to us their menu offered great suggestions then chatted with us for about minutes telling us about the restaurant, the chef and the plans they had for future events. Great place I look forward to going back for brunch
This restaurant is never prepared. Every time we have gone, within minutes of sitting, we are given a laundry list of things they don't have. I'm not talking about the end of the day...this is right when they open for the day. We've gone before and was told that the chef ran home to get his medicine. The most recent time we were told they were missing several items from the menu e.g. coffee, bacon, biscuits, orange juice.... How are you open for breakfast and you have those items on the menu but don't have them in the kitchen? This last time we left without eating. The food is good, but inconsistent, but I've had enough of this place. First time I had the donut it was hot...next time it was cold. The restaurant needs to better plan on how to serve it's customers. So unprofessional
Dodah's Kitchen offers a delightful dining experience with top-notch service and excellent food. The bright and intimate atmosphere adds to the overall appeal. While parking might be a bit of a challenge, the free street parking options make up for it. The menu features delicious dishes, with a focus on vegetarian Caribbean and Soul Food options. The friendly staff and tasty food make it a great addition to the neighborhood dining scene, perfect for small parties looking for a unique and flavorful dining experience. Despite some service hiccups, Dodah's Kitchen is definitely worth a visit for its delicious offerings.

Although I have a gluten allergy, I do enjoy the sides platter. I love the ginger lemonade and both of the blueberry and cherry cheesecakes. My experience at dodah's kitchen wasn't a pleasant one because of service and the attitude of the staff well atlases the young lady that served me today I ordered a chicken sandwich which the server told me that it should take about 7 to 8 minutes to be made so I said OK 15 minutes past then she came back to the front to tell me that they don't have the cheese to complete the sandwich so I asked what happened to the 7 or 8 minutes she then turned and told me with a attitude that she's not the cook when she was the one making my sandwich and then turn and told me that I could take it up with the manager

A small dine-in kitchen serving delicious vegetarian Caribbean/ Soul Food, spicy and tasty. I had what I thought were ribs I 'd forgotten it serves vegetarian food and under the yummy barbecue sauce, surprise! Something like a croquette but made of beans. My 2 sides, collard greens and potato salad were also very good. I 'll be back soon for more!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian. As I mentioned, the ribs are actually made of beans. Very, very good. She also has cakes and desserts.
My first time here. The service and food are excellent. My favs were the general Tso cauliflower bites, yams and fried “fish” so far. I will be back soon!Parking: Parking is limitedWheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible
I came in today to be met with a computer screen. I ordered my food, then the staff mentioned there wasn’t Cauliflower after I already completed my computer order. I asked for my money back but they last four digits of the receipt didn’t match the card I used. The staff didn’t care. This was a horrible experience.
I had a small meal at this restaurant and I hope they will soon find a larger space.
I really enjoy this place for more affordable vegan options when I cant be bothered to cook. My fav thing are the collard greens and the drummies. Not a fan of the baked goods or the mac n cheese, but it depends on your taste really. Also the mint lemonade is pretty good. I just wish it was a bit cheaper.

My main go to spot great food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Spinach Lasagna
I had my order through Ubereats. I did pay for extra portion so I hope I got that. I had 5 drummies, sweet kale and seafood mac n cheese. As a southerner I'd prefer the Mac n Cheese to be more creamier than hearty but it was decent. The food was good however. I love vegan chicken and I'm a sucker for good kale so they both hit the mark. I also ordered blueberry lemon cake but only got a lemon. Tad bit disappointing but I won't bash a black business. Thanks for being prompt with my order and delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian
Not what they used to be! Service and food quality (and availability) has declined. Will be out of something (this visit it was the Mushroom Salad smh)! If one could get crispy General Tso Cauliflower if would be reminiscent of the old days now it 's more akin to coated/steamed [lightly] glazed General Tso flavored cauliflower. Was shortchanged b/c I paid (extra) for the bed of Quinoa, however, didn 't receive it. Will be sure to check all containers thoroughly if I don 't watch the preparation of the order. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
