So very glad I found this place! Service was great. So attentive and accommodating. He made suggestions and info. Food was phenomenal. That may have been the best potato pancake I've ever eaten and I lived in Wisconsin for years. This place is a gem for home cooked Polish food. From the tartar to the gouloush everything was View all feedback.
The food was very good and the service was too. My wife and I each had the Polish Plate which is a nice assortment traditional Polish staples. Our son had the Lobster and Spinach Pierogies. These were outstanding.
Top tier customer service. The food was delicious, well spiced and hot. I had the potato and cheese pierogi with a side of asparagus. I would readily go again. Very affordable as well.
10th visit of mine over the time they've been open for business and it just gets better each time. Tonight I went for the rack of lamb and it was out of this world. Fingerling potatoes fried just perfectly. The mushroom gravy had me on my knees. Served with a squash and I ate all of it. I'm normally not a squash person. I find my taste buds doesn't usually like squash. This was really good. The whole meal was delicious and seasoned perfectly. The spices were measured out so all the tastes were really balanced. I've tried quite a few of the entrees and I have never had such good polish food anywhere in Chicago. I work in Chicago and you'd probably be surprised at how many Polish Chicagoans drive to Mount Prospect to eat here. How lucky we are to have this place in our town. I had 2 mojitos (drinks) here made by Alex. I lived in Mojitoville aka South Florida and I've never had a better one. I say that with sincerity. Thank you Alex. Give this family owned restaurant a try one day. Put it on your list for places to try. It's delicious and not expensive for the quality you get.
We had delicious Polish food at this great little restaurant. The mushroom soup has crunchy noodles and my golabki were awesome. My husband had pork cutlet with buttery potatoes. Sautéed carameled plums made a yummy dessert.
Delicious and authentic polish food! Don’t forget to try the amazing desert.
