Very nice place for dine in breakfast of lunch, steak wrap was very delicious. Wish the pancakes had a little more cream in between or ice cream on top not to make dryish, but very good experience View all feedback.
What Faye A doesn't like about Honey Biscuit Mount Prospect:
I made an Uber eats order for this place since it’s super close to my house. Everything arrived quickly and I opened it right away and saw the avocado served with the spring omelette was completely rotten. I’ve never seen an avocado served this bad and I don’t know why they thought this would be okay. Everything else was fine, but I had to totally dismiss the omelette since I was worried that the avocado might’ve con... View all feedback.
The service at this restaurant was quick and friendly. We arrived at 10 a.m. on a Sunday and were seated immediately. We ordered the signature biscuits (three medium-sized, served with honey), the chicken and waffles (which came with gravy and an egg), and the pot roast Benedict. Everything we tried was delicious! The biscuits were wonderfully fluffy—make sure to check out the photo of the inside! The pot roast in the Benedict was fantastic, though I wished there was more of it. Don’t miss the chance to try all three components of the chicken and waffles with the gravy; they pair perfectly together. I appreciated the thick waffle, as it wasn’t too sweet or too dry, making it a great complement to the chicken. However, I found the batter on the fried chicken to be a bit dense; it would have been better if it were lighter and crispier. The coffee was a bit weak for my liking. Overall, I plan to return to sample more items from the menu. A charming touch was the little bird nest in the "O" of the sign, which ended up being the highlight of our meal!
Absolutely amazing experience! We only had to wait around 15 minutes to be seated. The service was quick, and the food was exceptional. We especially loved their homemade biscuits, and the waffles were fresh, light, and crispy. We also indulged in a delightful orange juice mimosa! Overall, I would rate it a perfect 10/10 and would definitely come back.
This restaurant is an excellent choice for breakfast. The biscuits are outstanding. I really enjoyed the pancakes and skillets, but the chicken and waffles drenched in gravy didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the first few bites were tasty, the portion is quite large for one person, and the heavy gravy can become a bit overwhelming unless you eat it quickly. That's something to keep in mind. Overall, I've been here several times with my wife and have tried a variety of dishes. I will share some photos of the meals we've enjoyed during our recent visits. It’s a fantastic place for a quick weekend breakfast, and they also have some intriguing seasonal cocktails and coffees.
This is an excellent place for a breakfast or lunch meal. The steak wrap was incredibly tasty. However, I wish the pancakes had a little more cream in between or some ice cream on top to keep them from feeling a bit dry. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
