I love almost everything about the Ion Club. The staff is wonderful at the reception and the veranda. The food is about phenomenal thanks to Owen. Erika is the most friendly person I met in the veranda. And she goes beyond and beyond her duties to ensure that people are happy and cared for. What USC Aiken Campus Recreation Wellness doesn't like about The Porch At I'on:
While I enjoy the food, the service has been horrible this summer. It was so bad that on one occasion we got fed up and left. My BIGGEST GRIPE is the hours of operation though. Who for the love of God wants to cook for the fam on a Saturday or Sunday night? They are missing the biggest chunk of sales by being closed these two service shifts. I've eaten here several times and so far nothing has wowed me, especially for the price points. I've had the wings, they were just Ok, nothing special and I actually like the ones I make at home in the air fryer better. I've had the ahi tuna- it was $16 and the portion size was minuscule, and it was served with round tortillas that were a bit stale tasting. I've had the Caesar salad, and it was the best thing I've eaten here if that tells you anything. If you're not a member of the club you're really not missing out on much.

Ion Club's adult pool provides me with mid day vacation. Though sometimes I work while walking. The poolside cafe delivers my lunch, and I am good. ION also has a heated Jr Olympic pool for lap swimming , baby pool. Boasts up to date gym, personal training, water aerobics and First class tennis program. The outside bar has unique adult beverages, and popsicles. Food is awesome and not over priced. Today begins an exciting new era to ION. Member centered Mehdi and Britt have been promoted and are now the managers. ION has always been awesome now with Mehdi and Britt at the helm, with members first, compounded by years of previous experience, it will be even better. Call Britt today and set up a tour
