Description

The Brass, a charming gem in Mount Pleasant, presents a dining experience that's as eclectic as its ambiance. Guests rave about the attentive service and charming atmosphere but express disappointment in the food quality and overpriced menu. Signature dishes like pecan-crusted walleye and scallops have garnered mixed reviews, with some noting inconsistent flavors and presentation. While the ambiance and drink offerings receive praise, issues such as slow service and menu knowledge can detract from the experience. Overall, while some patrons find it worth a visit, others caution potential diners about the high prices relative to food quality.

I recently had dinner at this restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. The price per person was between $20-$30, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Speaking of the food, it was absolutely delicious and I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff members, also earning a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was charming and inviting, making for a delightful dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful meal.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! We ordered the ribeye but got the mushroom risotto instead of the usual side dish. The steak was cooked perfectly and the deviled eggs were also impressive. We requested to be seated in a more secluded area because a group of older customers nearby were loud and disruptive. Despite this, the restaurant itself was lovely and the staff provided excellent service. The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. We will definitely return in the future.

We always enjoy our meal but this last time was not as good an experience. The waitress had no idea about the menu or wines. We ordered the house salads and received the wedge salad and she didn't remember us ordering side salads. I told her immediately and she then brought the correct salads. I always like the pecan crusted walleye but this time, the sauce was way too rich and didn't taste right. The fish did not taste good either. . My husband ordered scallops carbonara and said the scallops were good but not the sauce. We were both disappointed in the waitress and the food and especially for the price of the meals.
