Love the food. The best chicken Tikka masala. Great Lassi, saag, naan,... but the service is slow, unorganized and unpleasant. The amazing food outweighs every infidelity. View all feedback.
The Indian buffet is so tasty, and it's a great deal. The second time we went, we ordered off the Indian menu, and OMG I am still thinking about those dishes! The Malai Kofta was amazing. The dishes on the menu are pricier than going with the buffet, but if you share a few, the bill comes out about the same as any other mid-range restaurant in town. And it is SO worth it. The Indian menu has lots of options, including a ton of vegetarian dishes. There is also a full American-style diner menu including breakfast items around the clock. Despite doubling as a bar after hours, the meal times are kid-friendly and also good for big groups. And the since there is a bar, they also have a large selection of drafts to order with your meal. The people who run it are very friendly, too. This place makes me so happy. I'm so excited that we have L-1!
I was sent to Mount Pleasant on a business trip, and being from the UK I know a thing or two about Indian food. I had also heard Michigan was the place to be when it comes to Indian/Arab foods. After looking around town it became apparent that this was the only Indian place around. It was quite impressive when we walked in much bigger than we thought. The servers were extremely friendly and the food tasted good. My colleague and I had the buffet. I personally can recommend the Naan bread (Which comes with the buffet) and the chicken dishes. Their lassis were also very nice. If you're in Mt Pleasant and want something different, check this place out for sure. Mike

Visited for the first time today. I had the lunch buffet and I have to say I was blown away. The selection of dishes was somewhat smaller than some Indian buffets I enjoyed, but the food at Bombay Grill was some of the best Indian cuisine I ever had. The Samosas were perfect-flaky and melt in the mouth. The Tandoori chicken was made perfect, and the big chickens in the other dishes were tender and well spotted. The chili chicken was absolutely incredible. I enjoyed my lunch. I'm back, but next time I'll skip the buffet and order the menu... Oh, and bring all my friends to enjoy it with me.
Top-notch Indian food!. Great! I wish I had gone before! A family friend had an event of L1 (which also goes from Bombay Grill now and I never had Indian food, but I am ready to give everything a try. It was all amazing! I couldn't keep away from the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Naan bread. I wanted to visit the restaurant since then, but my wife is not very willing to try new things. Well, I finally got her to go and even picky, little she loved everything we tried! The butter chicken is addicted. At spice level 3 of 5 it was perfect; just enough zipper. we ordered the sorted bread that has garlic naan, cheese naan (with paneera) and onion Kulcha. Everything was great, especially the garlic naan. I could just eat a bunch of these things. The Chicken Tikka Masala was just as delicious as I remembered and the Jeera Aloo was a great side dish (Potatoes and green pepper grilled with spices. It took a minute or so for the hostess to welcome us when we came, but was super attentive and friendly for the rest of our meal. The owner even came by and thanked us for coming. The atmosphere is a little strange as it looks like a direct nightclub/bar and you feel like your food on a dance floor (because you... , but the food BY FAR makes for any deficiencies in the ambience. I guarantee you to come back.
