Jack's Cosmic Dogs - Mount Pleasant

Hot dog and toppings were tasty, my wife and I both enjoyed the dogs. The French fries were Hot and real, not frozen out of a bag. The only thing that we had a negative review on was pricing. The menu had one price listed for items and when I got my receipt everything had a slight uptick on it (separate from tax) you should really consider updating the menu pricing to reflect what you are actually charging.

I grew up in Charleston and came home to visit before starting grad school. The ice cream that I loved so much is no longer creamy. Very much an ICE cream I guess. Just kind of a disappointing flavor now. My dad confirmed their ice cream was like that a few months ago too so it’s not a one time fluke. I guess it’s a good thing I’ve moved away cause my favorite ice cream in town is gone!

This could be such a great place but the hot dog was blah, the Cole slaw was weird (maybe someone is trying to be too creative on all american standards) and neither of us would eat it! And a little bleach cleaning on the floors etc would really brighten the sticky but cute place up.

Something different. A real throw-back. A good break from run of the mill fast food.

We enjoyed our hotdogs and fries. Definitely worth a shot but this ain't Chicago.
