I visited this restaurant a couple of times during my college years in the early 2000s. I've returned twice now while on a business trip, and I still really enjoy it. I’m a fan of soups and salads, and their antipasto salad and tomato tortellini soup are my favorites. My daughter loves the pizza as well. We'll definitely stop by the next time we're in town! We were on the way to the st ignace and wanted pizza. we didn't want to get the usual chain pizzas. the inner was beautiful. beautiful atmosphere and decoration. very friendly staff. the food was good. good brot with oil to dive.
One of our favorites.. The wife and I come here quite frequently. You really can't go wrong here (with a few exceptions). The ONLY thing I've had here that I didn't like was the Bruschetta. Also, the pizzas can sometimes be a bit undercooked in the thicker spots because they use an actual wood-fired oven and occasionally run it too hot. Dark outside, raw inside. With that out of the way, everything else is GREAT. Fried zucchini is some of the best I've EVER had. Garlic cheese-bread is PERFECT!! The Calzone Deluxe is excellent and can almost feed two. The servers are all friendly and attentive, too. It does get pretty busy, though and sometimes there is a wait to get in (usually on weekends).
Great Bruschetta. I loved the Bruschetta appetizer. It was the best ever. The prices are a lot cheaper than Olive Garden and Carrabba's but didn't sacrifice quality.
Good Cheese Pizza. The best pizza in town! My mom use to work here years ago. Great for kids since you can write notes to the chefs.
Excellent food, great service, and nice atmosphere. Adults only dinning section is nice for a night out or a good date.
