The food was amazing. Service was slow. Employees did not looked motivated at all. An elderly couple waited 30 min to have their order taken. I understand it was a rush hour but come on! If they are that busy, having more staff is necessary. Other than that, the food was very delicious well presented. I had chocolate chip pancake they are huge and very delicious. View all feedback.

This place is a joke. If you don 't know how to cook certain dishes why have them in menu? They brought overcooked and broken eggs on benedict and tried to cover it flipping, we asked to redo it and in 5 minutes they brining messed up eggs again with yolk spilling on a plate. Clearly person in the kitchen doesn 't know what he is doing there. If to be picky they served us oversalted grits and burned potatoes as well. And then so called manager is coming and asking What is wrong? . Like man, you supposed to be a on top of what you got here in this restaurant and it 's right in front of you on a plate what is going on . Wages spent on this manager is probably the most waste of this restaurant.
First Watch is our go to stop when heading to Charleston . The Menu is great and we are never disappointed with Outstanding service .
Service at First Watch is always OK at best, but this particular location often has major problems and this past Sunday was by far, the absolute worst.We sat at the last 2 available seats at the bar. There were dirty dishes that had not be cleaned up and the bar had not been wiped. The bartender was playing with something in the cash register, looked up and saw us, but said nothing. Once she was finished she went up to previous customers at the bar to see what else they needed and made a couple of drinks and served them.After almost 10 minutes she finally addressed us and removed the dirty dishes. She walked away which I presumed was to get a cloth to wipe down the area, but no, she went out into the dining room to handle those tables. Mind you, we still do not have menus. We finally asked another employee to hand us a couple of menus.The bartender/server, Taylir, finally came up to us never addressed the wait we had, and never wiped down the area. She took our order and walked away. We waited and waited, then she said our food should be up any minute.After another 15 minutes we asked her about our food, and without checking she just said it should be up any minute . Several minutes later our food came. Again, no apology or any reference to the long wait.I asked for the check right away since I did not want to wait for it when we were done eating.Taylir ruined the whole experience. Had she simply talked to us, let us know that she was behind, and would be doing everything she could to serve us, but it might take a while, we would have understood. But to not address us at all, not give us menus, take forever to take the order just ridiculously bad service.I won't say that I will never be back, but frankly, it will take a long time to shake off this very negative experience before we are ready to try them again.UPDATE: As you can see, First Watch asked me to send more information so they could contact me. Four days after I sent the information, no one has reached out. Now I see why the restaurants have poor customer service it stems down from their HQ.
Food is good but the service is horrendous. We tried to go one day and they were closed because of staffing shortages. Today we went online and saved our spot. When we arrived they claimed that we did not have a saved spot. Despite showing them text messages from their own website, they were nasty and lied saying since you made that, we have had staff call out so now the wait is longer. Oh, and there were plenty of open tables. I don 't think we will be going back.
