I would like to mention a wonderful staff member named Kitty, each time I have been into the store she is always very polite, fantastic under pressure as they were heavily under staffed and I watched her deal with drive through and in house with ease. What an asset to Red Rooster. Keep up the good work Kitty. View all feedback.

disgusting service kids on the phone eating and chatting while auto line is out again, repeated order 5 times in order box then go to window we once aha in to say what we are after 4 times as he had no idea then to top off order all wrong so frustrating View all feedback.

I ordered the fried chicken family package because the menu in the drive-thru was not legible and when we opened it that was burned, but not just a piece. absolutely deterrent. will never be back

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is the worst Red Rooster we’ve ever encountered. Go to the one at Canelands instead. Where to start? Well from the top. The Manager on duty was obviously having quite the bad day. The Girl serving us with all the piercings etc.. was absolutely useless. and the food was abysmal. So let me tell you what happened.We literally only ordered 4 Rooster rolls. That’s it! After about 40 minutes of waiting we asked what’s taking so long. No apologies for the wait or warning about the wait time, they finally confessed they’d run out of rooster rolls and that they’d given our order to an Uber eats order!!!!!. The Girl serving left the Mananger to deal with it. Rather than keep us informed they said “we’ll be back in 2 minutes.” During this “2 minutes” which turned out to be yet another 30mins, the Girl just kept going outside to talk to her boyfriend and have a smoke. The Manager, apart from yelling at his staff, apparently was “making” the rooster rolls out back. When she finally came back in, she gave us no updates as she was obviously trying to avoid being yelled at for her incompetence as well, before the Manager came back out. So finally after waiting 1 hour and 10 mins he came out with the worst Rooster Rolls we’d ever had. My wife had complained saying she’s worked in Red Rooster and why are we waiting for something that spends 2 minutes in a microwave, and said we need to leave. We took the rolls as I had to get to sleep for night shift and needed dinner. The Manager yelled at us now. We left in absolute disgust. Never ever again will we even contemplate stepping foot in this disgracefully run business again. My wife just feels sucks in the stomach just thinking about it.
Big shout out to the staff of Greenfields Mackay Red Rooster On Thursday night 26th May you all deserve a medal for your great service under so much pressure. WELL DONE GUYS AND GIRL'S
