Description

Mt Martha Village is a charming beachside strip with a variety of eateries, but Providore may not live up to the reputation of its neighbors. Some reviews mention issues with food quality and service, with complaints about undercooked eggs and unprofessional behavior among staff. However, others have found it to be a great local spot with fresh food, delicious coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. Despite mixed reviews, some customers have been loyal patrons for over a year and highly recommend dishes like zucchini soup and Chocolate Nutella Brownies. Ultimately, Providore seems to offer a decent dining option among the competitive cafe scene in Mount Martha Village.

Cafe Providore , one of a number of places for coffee in the Mt Martha village did not have much that made it special or outstanding it and was a fairly standard in terms of atmosphere , service and coffee quality. It is OK inside and also OK outside and although no negatives nothing to make you say it was great. Coffee was marginally higher priced than other's around .

The Cafe Providore is in a select group of shops near the beachfront in Mt Martha, on the Mornington Peninsula. It's a busy place, especially on the weekends. The food is of a high quality sufficient to please the locals, who turn out to support this neighborhood enterprise.

Mt Martha Village is a very special little group of shops proudly standing shoulder to shoulder facing a very special beach. There are some fabulous eateries along this 150m stretch. Most are excellent. Providore was the last one that we have sampled, and it will be the last time. Sorry, but their food lowers the wonderful reputation of this strip. We had the all day brekky, for both of us the poached eggs were hard, the potato rosti was fried mashed spud and presentation was average. My advice; try any of the other restaurants in this lovely village.

I visit here a couple of times a week and the coffee is excellent. The new decor and menu are popular and the location is great with good seating outside as well which is great for dog walkers.
