Contribute FeedbackAt TGI Fridays, patrons experienced a cascade of service failures that overshadowed the quality of the food. Many faced prolonged waits for meals, with cold dishes arriving after excessive delays. Even simple requests, like allergen modifications, were handled poorly, leading to frustration. Although some diners enjoyed specific menu items, they were often left waiting too long for their checks and boxes. Customer service was inconsistent; while some staff members were accommodating, others exhibited annoyance. Overall, the combination of disorganization and lack of communication left a sour impression, prompting many to vow never to return.
We ordered 2 waters, an appetizer, and 2 ceasar salads. When we recieved our waters it had a floating piece of cardboard in the ice.. then the salads came out right away but had no dressing. Then we had to wait 15 minutes for our waitress to come back to get our dressing, still no appetizer. To which we asked where it was she said it takes longer to make...understandable but an appetizer does not take 25 mins to make. All and all our waitress was good but forgetful, seems like they were under staffed and she was the bar tender as well.
I haven't had TGIF in years and decided order takeout this time because of proximity (08054 location). I ordered the kid pasta, fries, cherry limeade slush. My friend ordered the whiskey glazed chicken sandwich that she usually loves. 1. The wait was long but that was expected on a Friday night 2. When I checked order in car I realized they gave me the wrong order for my friend's meal so I went back in. 3. I went back in and informed them of this and showed them the order on my phone. They then brought out another order after going back to correct it. Second order was wrong again as they gave me the whiskey glazed chicken entree instead of sandwich. (I could see through the clear plastic container this time, fist time it was not a clear container). I told them right there I don't think this is a sandwich to which the manager looked through it, realized it was another mistake, and then told me it's the same chicken used in the sandwich so would I be okay with it. I said sure if she just gives me another container with the components that would make up the sandwich. She returns with this and the proper side of fries (this entree had mash potatoes and broccoli inside) 4. I return to my friend's home and present her with it. Apparently they just gave me generic sandwich toppings as opposed to those specific for the whiskey glazed chicken sandwich. I did not realize as I am not familiar with the TGIF's menu. Suffice it to say, she was not happy and tolerated the meal because it took almost an hour of actually getting it. 5. My kid pasta (I wasn't too hungry and wanted a small meal) was so bland. I'm not sure if it's because it was a kid meal or poor execution. I doubt if I will return to this location, if not the entire franchise.
We enjoyed our first dinner in a restaurant since the beginning of 2020. Our waitress was a very good natured waitress. I wasn't happy with the seating as we were right by the kitchen. One of the kitchen staff, or maybe he was a bus boy, did not have customer service on the tip of his list. However, over all, we enjoyed our meals.
Great customer service. Food is delicious. If you want my opinion try the bucket of bones!! Great pick plus it feeds 2 people no problem and that's just the appetizers plus Philly cheese steak rolls! The dipping sauce is the Bomb. ..
This is totally my opinion. Some may like the faire at this restaurant but I feel it is an overpriced McDonald 's. So if you find that type of food appetizing then you will like it. I never been a big fan but after about 20 years since I last ate there I figured I would give it another chance. Bad decision on my behalf. Overpriced for what you get. Food was not very good. Service at this one was bad. Waitress was sweet but disappeared for long periods of time. I do think she was by herself but there was only 2 more tables being used. Bottom line is that if you like mediocre Costco type frozen reheated for you for 10 times the value of it then go for it. Otherwise save yourself some money and go to a Mom and Pop .
