I had SUCH. AN. AMAZING experience at Panera today! My best friend and I came for dinner and we had confusions with our salad orders. My friend ended up getting a different salad than she expected when ordering and was unsatisfied with her meal. All ofthe sudden, one of the staff named June (shoutout to June! , approached our table and offered to make a different salad for myfriend. Neither I nor my friend expected this type of kindness; and June did not fail us! She offered to and made a new saladfor my friend, even though we insisted on her not because of the work it would be. She insisted on us being satisfied with ourmeals, and even offered free cookies for us. What an amazing experience, it truly made our day!
Panera used to be fantastic, but the last two times I visited were disappointing. I specifically requested provolone cheese, but instead received a thin sandwich on a baguette with yellow cheese. They've also stopped serving ham but still offer bacon—what's the difference? My sister's sandwich wasn't even toasted, and the turkey in it was poorly folded, just tossed in with cold yellow cheese. She ended up not eating it at all. Panera used to create sandwiches that were elegant and visually appealing, but now it feels like I'm just opening a bag of bread with yellow cheese at home. What has happened? We really miss the old Panera. I won't be returning.
As a nanny, I frequently take the kids here after picking them up from summer camp, and it has become their favorite lunchtime spot. They usually order the mac and cheese, which they love, while I always look forward to trying their new charged drinks, like the red apple cranberry. The food is consistently fresh, arriving hot and delicious. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the restaurant, including the dining areas, is always clean and well-stocked with condiments, napkins, and utensils.
My spicy chicken sandwich was missing the spicy pickle chips, and the salad I ordered for my girlfriend to-go cost $13 but was no larger than the half salad I paid $7 for. I honestly feel a bit shortchanged. I plan to reach out to customer service to hear their thoughts on the issue before leaving a final review. Update: They refunded me with a new meal.
Quick service with a pleasant interior and an inviting outdoor patio. The food was delicious. I ordered the buffalo chicken bacon pizza, mac and cheese, Caesar salad, chicken noodle soup, and tuna sandwich. Disappointed they didn’t have turkey, as the Bacon Turkey Bravo is my favorite sandwich. Also tried the green drink. The atmosphere is enjoyable. Update 8/25/22: Everything remains great.
