Wow, the pepper pie was amazing! The pastry was perfect as well. It’s definitely worth the price, especially compared to Pie Face. I even went back for a second one!
I stopped by for some coffee just as the fresh pies and sausage rolls were coming out. I left with my hands full, completely forgetting my keys. It wasn't until I was quite a distance down the road that I realized they were missing. Fortunately, the staff were incredibly helpful, and they managed to get my keys back home before I did!
We left Rockhampton and my partner thought there was a roadhouse heading south, but it seems to have closed over the years. So, we decided to make a spontaneous stop at the Mt. Larcom Cafe. It turned out to be a great choice! The bacon and eggs were fantastic, and the lattes were delicious. The staff were friendly, and there were some interesting historical displays to check out. Overall, it was a worthwhile stop!
We run into dramas with our van and pulled over for a coffee and tried to fix the damage in the car park. The owner of the coffee shop come out to help lending his grinder, advice and mussel and getting us back on the road. I haven't had better service from a fabrication shop let alone coffee shop. Thankyou so much
