Feedback
The tapas restaurant received mixed reviews, with some diners disappointed by the food quality, lack of available dishes, and loud atmosphere. However, others praised the excellent service, delicious food, welcoming staff, and COVID safety precautions. While some felt the prices were high for the experience, many enjoyed the authentic European Spanish cuisine, wine list, and warm atmosphere. Overall, opinions were divided, with some diners unlikely to return while others planned on coming back for the delicious dishes and friendly service.
Starts for trying hard. So far they are sorta succeeding but not there yet. Service is very rocky. Bar is crazy busy due to Happy Hour every weekday. Atmosphere is winter cozy. Seafood Paella is fantastic as is the Dover Sole. Res unnecessary which is unusual and is a point in their favor.
This is practically the only restaurant we go to the few times we do go out. It's not like the thousands of typical fake Italian restaurants that put the same sauce in everything. It's what I call Clean Cooking using less ingredients than more so that you can taste what you are eating. Our host, Victor Varela was so nice and accommodating. We had a nice conversation with him about our European roots. Learning that my husband is from a small island off of Sicily he told us how much he loves Sicily and that his wife is from there also. It was a pleasant evening as usual. I always recommend this place to everyone.
Excellent selection of entrees and Tapas. Great wine list. Service timely and not rushed. Authentic Iberian
I hate to leave a negative review since the staff was incredibly welcoming, but unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. The only positive is that everything was edible. Although the prices appeared fair for a tapas place, the quality of the dishes didn’t seem worth it. Perhaps it was just an off night, but the experience was disappointing enough that we won’t be returning.
I’m not sure what all the hype is about. I visited to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and while the atmosphere was lovely, the food was rather disappointing—adding salt didn’t seem to help at all. The lobster bisque was thin and watery, and the picadinho was just okay, more like shredded meat than anything else. The gambas were lacking in flavor, even with all the garlic. On a positive note, the bitoque was tasty, and the cocktails were impressive—they definitely got those right. Overall, the restaurant has its appeal, but the food really needs a lot of improvement. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
