Mount Ida Cafe
Mount Ida Cafe
Description
In a quaint café near Mt. Ida, diners encounter a blend of experiences that range from delightful to disappointing. While some praise the welcoming staff, affordable prices, and comforting breakfast offerings, others critique the quality of certain dishes, such as unappetizing salads and inconsistent service. A standout feature is the delicious cheeseburger and highly regarded coconut cream pie, which have garnered a loyal following. Despite mixed reviews on cleanliness and food presentation, the café's charm, and affordability make it a worthwhile stop for travelers seeking local flavors amidst the backdrop of this small Arkansas town.

I have had both breakfast and dinner at this restaurant. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
The food was decent. I ordered the steak, which was quite bland. However, the Texas toast, salad, and baked potato were much better than the steak.
Very nice local cafe in a very small Arkansas town. We had the pleasure of eating here after viewing the total eclipse which went right over Mt Ida. Food was delicious and economical. Service was extraordinary.
We enjoyed our visit to the Mt Ida Cafe and the food was very good. We had cheeseburgers and fries, but there was a large selection of entrees, BLTs, chicken fried steak, chicken strip dinners, barbecue potatoes, and more. We were there on the busy day of the total eclipse, but service was good. Our waitress was friendly. We enjoyed the pleasant and friendly atmosphere of a small town cafe.Prices were reasonable. $9.99 for a CB fries. The only con was we had trouble figuring out which door was the entrance. Now that we know, we will stop when in the area.
