The plush couches are also a highlight for me, so comfortable and luxurious. In conclusion, I am enamored with this place and would love to make it my home! Th... read more We visited Barleyvine for the first time today and had such a great experience! I had read about their Hogwarts event online, and we decided to check it out. The menu is full of yummy cheese and charcuterie boards, appetizers, salads, wraps, flatbreads, and simple yet elegant desserts. We tried the deluxe cheese and charcuterie board, pretzel encrusted cheese curds, soft pretzel bites with beer cheese, and rosemary fries. Everything was delicious and well presented. The coolest thing is the self service beer, cider, and wine bar. You pay by the ounce, so you can try as many or as few, as much or as little, of their offerings as you would like. The prices are quite reasonable too. We paid $13 for about 2.5 pints and $60 in total with tax and tip for all of our food and drinks, with leftovers to bring home. The service was top notch, and the Hogwarts event was great too they had so many fun things for our kids to do and sent them home with Harry Potter glasses, coloring pages, black light pens, and themed jelly beans. We're looking forward to making our way back to Mount Horeb to visit Barleyvine again. Their outdoor patio will make it a fun destination for the summer too. I don't have any connection to this restaurant, but I would really like to see them succeed given the great food, the cool concept, and how nice everyone was. Definitely worth the trip from Madison.

The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place. It's perfect for a girls' night out with its feminine decor that is perfect for photos, but everyone can have a great time here!

The beer and wine selection was a hit with our group. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place. It is ideal for a girls' night out, with its fun and feminine decor that is perfect for photos. However, anyone can enjoy a great time here!
