Mount Holly brew pub stop number three. This was probably my favorite stop on my Mount Holly crawl. The place is pretty cool. If I had to pick one to go back to, this would be my first choice. What one would think of for a brew pub. The service was top notch. Had the Spellbound IPA. No fancy name. Just the IPA. It was very good. Had another IPA also, and can't remember the name. It was good, but was more of an East Coast IPA. I prefer the West Coast. As I was leaving, I noticed a large area in the back (I parked on the side when you first pull into the lot, and you walk right into the tasting room), and it looked like they actually had a band setting up and getting ready to go. Cool, and right up my alley. Unfortunately, this was stop 3, and had to pace myself. Next time, and there will be a next time. Will definitely be back, and hopefully sooner rather than later. Oh, and Ester the cat walking around even added to the charm.

I've known the name for years was happy to finally stop into their location! Finally got a chance to visit Spellbound Brewery in Mount Holly, and had a fantastic experience! The location was top-notch, with plenty of parking and a welcoming atmosphere. Parked in the back and made my way through their canning area. Looks like there is a second entryway that gets you right into the tasting room but my first time attending, I didn't realize that. Very spacious in there and looks like they host special events as they had a few cornhole boards off to the side and a couple of picnic tables. The tasting room was also spacious, I'd say about 10 tables for groups of 2-6, and then the bar area which had an additional 20 seats. Right behind the bar had a lot of wall decor and a wide selection of beers on tap to choose from. You were able to scan a QR code to see their full list or they had 2 TVs displaying their options at the end of the bar as well. I also appreciated that the brewery was dog-friendly, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends and their furry companions. It was great to see a venue that catered to groups, with samplers available for those who wanted to try a bit of everything. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the various brews on offer but also chatted about the ingredients with other patrons and similar brands, which made for a great experience. If you're in the area, definitely worth the trip. There are a few other breweries and distilleries all in the area and worth the walk between them if you've got the warm weather to enjoy as well.

My boyfriend enjoys trying out different breweries, so we decided to visit this one on a Saturday afternoon in December. He tried a flight of beers while I opted for a different one, although it turned out to be too hoppy for my taste (I should have taken a sip, I know! Lol). The brewery is a good size and has a cozy atmosphere. When we arrived, a soccer game was on and everyone seemed to be engrossed in watching it on the TV. There were also some activities for kids, as we noticed two boys at a nearby table. It appeared that most of the patrons were locals, which is always a good sign for any establishment!

A good number of tasting beers. The pale ale is a nice light with a good taste. Pumpkin, mango, porter and 12 others to try. Nice little place. Will visit again.

Always have a wonderful time at Spellbound. Matt is the premier host/beer tender. Always great fun ! ! !
