Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant, located near Mt. Gretna Playhouse, offers excellent food and service in a serene atmosphere. Although reservations must be made in advance, the meals are well-prepared and high-quality. The crab and corn chowder is a must-try. Despite some slow service and rushed dining experiences, the overall consensus is positive. The BYOB policy and beautiful setting make it a great choice for pre-show meals. The staff is friendly, and customers often leave with plans to return. LeSorelle is highly recommended for breakfast, lunch, and special evening dining experiences.
We have frequented LeSorelle for both breakfast and lunch. They have the best crab corn chowder I have ever tasted. We have never had a bad meal there and the staff is super friendly. We recently had the opportunity to have dinner byob there on one of the special occasions that they open for dinner. That was a wonderful treat. I would highly recommend LeSorelle!
The dinner was a fixed price with a choice of entrees. I made reservations in advance and picked the entrees in advance. It was wonderful. We were not rushed, service was excellent. The soupcrabcorn chowder was perfect as well the salad.Simple, nothing grand but delectable. The fish choices for myself and my friend were very good, just enough of a serving of fish with the sides . I did have room for dessert a choice of The atmosphere was quiet without feeling that we had to be overly reserved. We left , very happy, enjoyed the various art on the walls and planned on returning soon
There is only one seating at I took too long forsomeone to acknowledge us. We were seated on the front porch and waited min. more for someone to serve water and open our wine. The crab and corn chowder is amazingly delicious! The salad consisted of fresh greens with cherry tomatoes and homemade balsamic vinaigrette which was quite good but the plate was too small. Entrees arrived at very long wait. We had to eat quickly, have dessert, and walk to the playhouse. Had someone waited on us from the beginning and kept things moving, it would have been more leisurely. The food was very good, but I'm not sure the stress is worth it
We chose this restaurant thinking we would have a relaxing meal before the show at Mt Gretna. Afterall the fixed seating time was pm for a pm show. Well, we were wrong. At pm, we still had not received our entrees. After a discussion with our server we were assured we had plenty of time. We ate quickly, gulped dessert, and at pm decided we better leave cash for the check since we had no idea how long it might be to put it on our credit card. In addition, we were wedged at a table right next to a group of celebrating a birthday. Well, it was so loud we couldn't even have a discussion most of the time. So much for a romantic dinner for two. The food was excellent. Well prepared and high quality. We will not go back
The food was very good, but I felt bad for the one and only waiter as he had to do the entire restaurant himself. Fellow diner complained that it took too long. The whole meal did take hours, not great if you need to go see a show at the playhouse. Probably better for breakfast or lunch, although I would try dinner there again
