Craynut-donuts - Mount Eden

Okay donuts! We took my son on his birthday July 23rd 2023. Establishment was closed upon arrival due to the staff member being on break . We waited 20-30 minutes for her to return. When she did, she took our order and told us bacon wasn 't ready but offered to make it. Rather than stop to go start the bacon and return to continue our order, she finished taking our order, made every other donut and then put the bacon on after. Making us wait an additional 15-20 minutes. By then the other donuts were no longer warm. Meanwhile she has her phone hooked to the speakers playing music with cussing while my children and other children are present. No appropriate for an place of business. It just wasn 't my ideal visit to a new place. I don 't see myself returning.

Stopped at a neighboring business on my way home and saw the Craynut sign. I went in and ordered 2 craynuts. Lady cooked them in front of me so I expected them to be fresh. They were pretty.....however the insides were gummy and gooey and raw. Very disappointed and will not be returning to this shop.

So I yelped this place and surprised my fiancé and my son with this place for breakfast for Father's Day last year and it already smelled like fresh donuts when we walked in. They were so warm and fresh. Better than Krispy Kreme to be honest with you. You can pick a premade donut in their window or create your own. Super affordable prices and I highly recommend it!

Very disappointed. Went here this morning and they were not open. Why have hours online saying your open if you're not going to be?

I paid 15.90 2.65 ea) for this folks. Homemade donuts- .20... Have a great weekend. Really nothing more to say. Yelp won't post unless I have 85 characters. So I'm writing more words in here.
