The restaurant itse... read more I literally had the time of my life at Pisces Rising this week, when the man I love proposed to me over their most exceptional creme brûlée. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous and the food was top-notch. Seriously, I could not imagine a nicer place in every respect. But it was the people who work there who made this special night truly exceptional for us. Our server was Jacquie and this darling woman actually cried when my guy proposed and I went into a state of shock — before of course saying YES. I was going to say we’ll go back for our anniversary, but I don’t want to wait that long. Pisces Rising is a wonderful place and we’ll be back just as soon as we possibly can. My sincere thanks to all involved!

The Views were great sitting outside and looking at Lake Apopka. There was a musician there playing live music which was a nice add to the ambiance. The food was delish. Had the blackend tuna app and Shrimp and grits. Will be back. The staff was incredibly friendly. Huge shout out to Jackie who waited on me and provided some great menu suggestions. Thank you!

There was a hiccup in the beginning as the server... read more We celebrated my birthday on Sunday at our favorite Special Occasion restaurant. Again, it did not disappoint! There was a hiccup in the beginning as the server was not told we were in her section, and we had to wait 25 minutes to get service. The first round of beverages was served in a timely manner. the second round obviously sat for an extended period of time and was warm. They were replaced immediately. We ordered the Charcuterie Board and were very satisfied with the selection. After ordering our entre of Filet and wedge, we were told they were out of iceberg for the wedge, so we picked the spring mix. The server promptly returned and offered Romaine which was a perfect substitution. Lastly, we were given a complimentary birthday dessert that was delightful. It was a strawberry shortcake of sorts. It was fresh and lite. The Manager on Duty came to chat with us, and it really made our visit complete. We will definitely keep this as our Special Occasion restaurant.
