La, our hosts and servers, was wonderful and welcoming. She held a table for us and had a smile that was contagious. The dark design camp was wonderful as well as the food. I didn't care about the cheese strudel, but the chocolate cake was excellent. Give this restaurant an attempt to visit Mt. Dora because they earn your business. Thank you LA for your great service and suggestions. See you soon. View all feedback.
What Omawunmi Makuachukwu doesn't like about Bavarian Haus:
This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The food was awful, and the service from the elderly woman with short hair (who refused to give me her name) was rude from the moment my family and I arrived. The service was absolutely terrible! I am so disappointed and will never come back.
Very friendly some nice German beer on tap. We had a large pretzel as an appetizer and I had the ham and swiss cheese on a pretzel baguette and a side of sauerkraut with a beer. It was all very good, they were very friendly and appropriately attentive a really nice lunch you'll like it.
The service from the waitress was excellent, but the food was even better. The pricing seemed off, with a small portion of Wiener Schnitzel costing $21.95 - ouch! The Wiener Schnitzel at Arts was a better deal at $16.95, with a portion that was definitely twice the size. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this place a 7. You can never go wrong here. Remember, whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 3:13.

I did not care for the cheese struddle but the chocolate cake was excellent. Give this restaurant a try when visiting Mt. Dora because they deserve your business. This restaurant is a joke! The so-called German food was more like a drunken American bachelor party at 3:00 AM. It seemed like the restaurant put in the bare minimum effort. The quality was disappointing, and the portions were so small that it was barely visible on the plate. The standards have definitely fallen, and the dishes did not live up to expectations. The Mount Dora community deserves better quality food than what was served here.
