The food menu is quite limited—think giant soft pretzels, hot dogs, burgers, and... frozen pizza. They’re upfront about the type of pizza they serve before you order. There’s no grill for the burgers listed on the menu, but I plan to return and find out how they prepare them. So, your options are essentially beer and chips along with this limited selection, and trust me, that's more than enough. We ordered the hot dogs and the ridiculously large soft pretzel. The hot dogs are all beef with natural casings, giving them a satisfying snap in every bite—truly excellent, reminiscent of your best days at a ballpark. You can top them with mustard, ketchup, relish, onions, or Tostitos cheese dip. On Wednesdays, they even have chili available. The pretzel was freshly baked in an oven and took a little while to prepare, but it was definitely worth the wait. It was the size of a small pizza and about three inches thick! It comes with a soft cheese dip, but we piled on the mustard instead. Honestly, this was the best soft pretzel I’ve ever had, and it was more than enough for the table to share. They play country music throughout the place, and Engine Masters was on the TV while we were there. The atmosphere is friendly; it felt like everyone knew each other. The prices are very reasonable, but the only downside is the limited menu and the risk involved in playing pull tabs.
Kevin the owner was so friendly and gave so much information on the history of the bar. Great dive bar in Mt Clemens
It's a small, tucked-away neighborhood bar. It's not a café since they don't serve food. They have Bud Light on tap for $1, $2, or $3 options. The crowd was pleasant for a Monday night, and the bartenders were friendly and helpful. They also have an enclosed smoking room next door that's open year-round.
New Ownership! Good service. Trying new things to bring in customers. Best bar stools!
Rosie is one of the most two faced people you will ever encounter. I started going to her establishment only two weeks ago. I never had a problem with anyone at the bar. In fact I met a lot of great people. The bartenders are all super sweet. The patrons are all kind and caring. However Rosie banns me from her bar today and doesn't have the balls to tell me to my face. She has her sweet bartender do it. Reading about her n the history of the bilrus It boggles my mind how she's still in business. Good luck Rosie and may God bless your like you bless your patrons and employees u fire right b4 Christmas with out a conscious.....
