Menu

A complete menu of Markum Inn from Mount Angel featuring all 119 dishes and drinks can be found here on the menu.

The Markum Inn pairs updated, cozy inn-style charm with reliably hearty, locally raised beef—standout burgers (elk, Markum Double), truffle fries, beer-battered onion rings and well-prepared prime rib and steaks. Friendly, attentive service, a sunny patio and fire pit complement craft cocktails and local beer. Portions are generous though slightly smaller than decades past; occasional to‑go inconsistencies and no milkshakes are noted, but overall it’s excellent value for hikers, travelers and locals.

Was Anonym at Markum Inn a mag?
On the way back from hiking at Silver Creek falls. Decided to try this place. Sure. The picture is the Elchburger with truffleries. Very delicious. The burger was cooked a perfect medium. The fries were also beautiful and crispy, because a drink had the strawberry limonade a perfect choice for the burger. The only drawback was that they had no milkshakes. If you are in this way, you can not go wrong by visiting the M... View all feedback.

Positive experience! They grow their own beef and it is the real thing! The beer onion rings were fantastic! The Markum Double was big, but feasible. Very tasteful and loved ham in addition to beef. The truffleries were delicious! To be honest, the size has been significantly reduced since I was here 30 years ago.

Really enjoyed this place in the past. Decided to splurge on some to go food tonight for me and my kids. Ordered the stuffed potato that has been reviewed on here and looked delish!! We were so excited! Got home to see a potato ???? by itself with 3tiny containers of cheese, chives and bacon bits?no butter or sour cream ???? Don?t want to drop their rating over this becauseI will try them again but wanted to review so that if anyone else sees that tasty potato in the reviews and goes to order it,make sure to double check before you leave with a to go that your getting the entee not a tiny side because now I gotta makefood after driving, paying and tipping for what I thought would be dinner. First world problems but might save someone else fromthe same foodie disappointment.

This place is a legacy icon, been going here for decades but first time in many years and the updates and changes are really nicely done. It used to be a bit dated, styling 1977, so the current version is impressive. I took a friend visiting from Europeon a motorcycle food scenery tour of Oregon and we finished our last stop here. We split a Double Markham inn burger and itwas excellent. Service was good, menu impressive and the setting outside and fire pit was a great bookend for our trip. The onlyissue was I am sure unintentionally done. My friend is German, very VERY VERY picky about Bier! The server brought his Germansustenance with a slice of Orange. You don 't DO that! He has stopped bartenders in their track pounding on the bar barking There is NO fruit in Bier! There isn 't, it 's just wrong! But we let it go, I ate the orange, but next time ask!

On the way back from hiking at silver Creek falls. Decided to try this place out. Glad we did. The picture is of the elk burger with truffle fries. Very delicious. The burger was cooked a perfect medium. The fries were also nice and crispy, for a drink hadthe strawberry lemonade a perfect choice for the Burger. The only downside was they didn't have milkshakes. If you're out thatway you can't go wrong by stopping at the markum in for a relaxing meal.

Positive experience! They grow their own beef and it is the real deal! The Beer Batter Onion Rings were fantastic! The Markum Double was big but doable.
