Wendy's - Mount Airy

After waiting patiently behind three other couples I decided to place my order via the app as carry out. 12 mins passed and still nothing from the staff at o assist or even great the three families in front of me in line. A few mins later I spoke up for the group and asked for the manager. A few moments later he approached the counter nice and calm. I asked is he had any plan to assist anyone in the dining room as some have been standing there for 30plus minutes. He told me that they had to focus on door dash and drive thru and that he would try to get to the people in the dining room as soon as he could. At this point 5More minutes pass and two families left as his answer showed them that they and their families meant nothing to him or the business. The others thanked me for speaking up as I finally got my order and was leaving as they just then started taking orders at the counter.I am in retail myself (nearly 30 years) and if the company I worked for changed our focus from toward facing customer service to all digital and in this case drive thru focused and ignoring paying customers at the counter. I would leave. I can honestly say if this is how Wendy’s is going to focus on customers and treat customers going foward, you can count this customer out. I will try other Wendy’s in the market and as I travel for work to test the waters and see how they treat customers at the counter. If I see that it is truly the focus I will take my business elsewhere and take my opinions to other online social media as well.PS your “tell us what you think” survey is broken as it freezes each attempt at 57%.

Called them about an hour and a half ahead of time for 20 junior bacon cheeseburgers they were very nice about the order had then ready when I got them

Cobb salad and taco salad both very good, but taco salad would have been better had they remembered to provide the tortilla chips it was supposed to some with.

Such a Great Place to Eat... Very Family Friendly and The Employees are always very professional and go above and beyond to Serve Customers... I give this Wendy's 10 out of 10....

Good food and nice service. Restaurant dining room is clean with plenty of seating.
