This was a great place. We enjoyed the trolley ride up to the castle. The castle is beautiful and everyone was there to share the history. The views are a must see!!! We walked the trails and saw the waterfalls. It was a great day. View all feedback.
What Matthew Passano doesn't like about Castle:
The food took so long that the waitress apologized twice, each apology was about 15 minutes apart. There were only a few options to choose from, so would you think they would be able to get the meals out quickly, but this not the case and it wasnt unique to us, as we heard others complianing as well. Then, when the food arrived, it was disgusting. The lobster roll had no taste whatsoever, it felt like chewing rubber.... View all feedback.
This is a very cool historical self-guided tour in the house and on the grounds. There is a guided tour of the basement which shows all the invention Thomas Plant had implemented into his Castle. Beautiful grounds. Occasionally, they have dinner music nights in the summer months which are fun and quite delicious. I had one of the best lobster rolls ever there.
Absolutely beautiful place to have a wedding! I have officiated several weddings here and the staff, food and shuttle drivers are so wonderful.

Beautiful views and multiple nice hiking trails with rivers and waterfalls. Didn't go into the Castle but it was still fun.
