Do not be put off by its location - basically it is a car park! We enjoyed a fabulous meal, the sun was shining and the food, service and wine was fantastic value for money. The octopus salad was to die for and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her sea bass and, most unusually for us, we both tucked in to a scrummy dessert. One tip do not bother to order a bottle of wine - nothing wrong with it - just order a pichet. What a great afternoon. We will be back !
We were recommended by people we met to go there for my Birthday. What a mistake. We had the Plat de jour, wine and Desert. The Fish was the worst we have ever had and the meat was better. On hindsight we should have sent the food back but we had been out all day and were really hungry. The waiter seemed embarrassed by what he presented to us.Should you eat there do not be afraid of refusing the food.
Having visited this restaurant two years ago when we were last staying in Mougins, we were delighted to find Le Petit Provençal in even better shape than when we were last here. The pizza's are great tasting and excellent value and the desserts are very tasty. The service was also very friendly and, unlike a review from last year, very welcoming to a couple of Brits!
I ate here the best pizza in the region (veggie) ! Delicious crispy bread and plentiful topping. I had the chance to get to know the owner, he was very friendly and I had an excellent service.
Park right outside the front door, eat great food with the locals - and then be pleasantly surprised by how reasonable it is. Nice choice of fish but we go for the gourmet burger which is a feast in itself with melted cheese, bacon, tomato and a giant burger of freshly ground beef - complete with a fried egg on top. Also recommend the pizzas.
