I don 't usually write reviews. But after my horrible rude experience I couldn 't not. Upon entering, the young tall curly man was extremely rude. I asked what was in the vegetarian sandwich and I was responded with. Veges duh and I said if you don 't want to tell me what 's in it I won 't buy anything. We didn't expect this: a fantastic little restaurant with loving, personal service and the food just blew us away! Gourmet food to die for (worth 6 stars, if you ask me! ... and the prices are VERY reasonable. If this was located in Wellington they would have queues from the station to Courtney Place : We'll be back!!!! View all feedback.

Had a Kiwi special. Steak,2 eggs , salad and fries which was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beer is not bad either!
Great cafe! warm service and a cute little garden courtyard to enjoy our delicious coffees from. Lovely owner (you can tell why it's called Hot Mama!
Friendly busy cafe with outstanding staff and amazing doughnuts. Visit often for a lift of spirits.
