The meeting point of the sun is located on the ground floor of a building that seems to have resisted the bombings. The location is dirty and decadent to the point of being embarrassing. As can be seen from the photos, the balconies are literally falling apart. To access the restaurant you pass the bar, a very dirty place where on the left you can see a meter long pile of newspapers and cardboard dried up by the heat, therefore full of dust. Given the total lack of cleanliness and hygiene, my first thought was to leave. I stupidly gave up because I was in the company of other people and also because I was influenced by the endless positive reviews. I thought not to pay attention to appearance to give space to substance. My big mistake. Those who, due to carelessness dictated by indifference (as well as by the total lack of controls on the part of the responsible bodies), allow the conditions of their premises to fall into a pitiful state even if they can afford to offer something else, often reserve the same treatment for customers. In fact this was the case. In any case, now in front of the pile we were greeted by a lady dressed in comfortable, visibly worn house slippers. The priority immediately entrusted us to an elderly gentleman with a shirt full of grease stains, the head nurse, a courteous person but without a minimum of professionalism. After assigning us a table, he quickly listed the few seafood specialties we could consume. The paper menu is insensitive, as is the list of allergens, therefore the prices. Therefore we opted for the only existing appetizer, the house one, composed of a jumble of squid scraps cut into cubes and served with any sauce. The only two dishes worth mentioning were the marinated anchovies and a tiny octopus tentacle. Due to allergies, I openly asked if there was butter in the scampi risotto. The head nurse literally replied that every now and then they put it there . When the course arrived I was able to learn that fortunately there was no butter in the risotto, but neither was there any scampi. One scampi tail, one shrimp tail, two claws. Everything had been boiled and put on the plate. The appearance and taste were those of products that had been frozen for a long, too long time, which is why the risotto did not have the scent of shellfish but of parsley added at the end of cooking in a disproportionate quantity. The tuna pasta was salty to the point of being unimaginable. As a second course they ordered a grilled swordfish steak. A very thin slice of frozen pressed cardboard arrived without smell or taste which was swallowed with the help of water because it was served without a side dish. The other guests had ordered spaghetti with clams and grilled swordfish. The spaghetti was garlicky with the scent of clams, all in all edible if you like garlic, the grilled meat was not grilled, we found on the plate a scrap of swordfish cooked in a pan, in short, with the same characteristics as the swordfish described previously but in even smaller quantities, that is, it was a finger long and two wide. The other two fish were breaded and fried, products of an unknown nature sharing the same taste. Perhaps pangasius, given the properties and the sweetish aftertaste. But I 'm not sure of this. Almost all the dishes returned to the kitchen intact, left at the first taste. As for drinks, they consumed three bottles of water. The whole thing cost us 180 euros. I strongly advise against this restaurant . I don 't think the positive reviews are true. The taste is questionable, the quality is not.
