The food, s... read more Podrum is one of my favorites in the old town. It may be easy to go there because it is unpredictable, but I encourage you to stop and take a place. The food, service and atmosphere of this family-run local restaurant is excellent. Prices are more than fair. Whether you're a day or a local in town, I highly recommend. My favorites are the Muckalica, trout, grill and hand cut frits.

I was here two days in a row and had the chance to taste her trout dish and spicy soup, and they were both delicious. For the trout I especially appreciated all the pages that came with it (bows, boiled potatoes, bread) that made it a perfectly balanced dish. Moreover, the service is polite and friendly, and they all speak a very good English!
