The food, coffee and service was fantastic. We took the kids who enjoyed the kids waffles and freashly squeezed orange juice deal. After trying out a few places for coffee this place was the best. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Junction Cafe:
cafe changed the hands. Environment is a bit of a bland and milky. Eat is good, coffee. the customer service was not existent, except the cook/cook that served our meals. I hope that the new management irons will get out of the folds and a better mood. View all feedback.
This was a cute little breakfast spot for us on our way from Port Douglas to Daintree.
After 2 weeks in FNQ this is the first time we have had a decent coffee! Strong and hot and properly textured milk. Also had the option to have gluten free toast with home made blueberry jam. Excellent friendly service. This would definitely be our local if we lived in Mossman.
A small town north of Port Douglas at a road junction with the small track railway this cafe/restaurant surprised us with the presentation of generous portions of food. Freshly cooked to order with obviously fresh good ingredients we all four of us commented how good everything tasted at our lunchtime visit. Sitting outside we were entertained by a long train load of cane sugar passing close by from the sorrouding sugar plantations. Certainly recommended.
We popped in here for breakfast on the way to cape tribulation. I am absolutely serious when I say this is the best eggs Benedict I ever ate. The house cured salmon on fluffy fluffy buttery bread...with perfect poached eggs and lime. The coffee tasted like toasted caramel and was perfect. Even a space to charge my phone as we relaxed. It's not noisy, plenty of space to relax, lots of air and sunshine. A real treat!!!
This is a must do when travelling through Mossman. My favourite lunch item is the coriander fritters. They also stock some local product like Daintree Chai tea. Highly recommended
