We live locally and couldn't believe we haven't tried this place before..until yesterday! Their buckwheat noodles (tempura soba) and curry udon were really nice. Very authentic. Great lunch set value. Nice service. Will be back soon! View all feedback.

It's not often you find a neighbourhood gem that you look forward to frequenting as much as I do this place. It's on one of the busiest roads in Sydney but inside is and tranquil and minimalist; so much so, each time I visit, whatever happened to stress me out during the day is forgotten. Just a good humble local Japanese restaurant. The Eel hot pot in Yanagawa style is soul-warming. Perfect for winter The crispy soft shell crab with green tea salt is absolutely delicious. Don’t forget to order the double salmon roll, too. Service is a bit slow, some wait is expected.
Affordable, generous portions and definitely a local gem ! One of the best place for Japanese in the upper north shore. We have been to the place a couple years ago , the price hasn't increases by a great lot, even less than inflation I would say. Most of the customers are locals and most of them would byo.
Delicious and very good presentation of the degus tation course. I enjoyed it very much and will go back again. One improvement suggestion would be to get an explanation of the various small dishes.
Loved it. It's always consistently amazing. The degustation is affordable and value for money. Hosts are very polite and accommodating.
The kaiseke is amazing. Great flavours, amazing value.
