Dancing Zorbas - Mosman
Dancing Zorbas
Description
The restaurant received mixed reviews, with some customers expressing disappointment over poor presentation, lack of authenticity in the Greek cuisine, and an overall negative dining experience. One individual was particularly upset after a booking mishap that left them without a venue for a birthday dinner. Others complained about overpriced dishes, small portion sizes, and the quality of the food. However, there were also positive comments praising the fresh and tasty food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. Despite the mixed feedback, the restaurant seems to have potential for improvement and offers a selection of traditional Greek dishes worth trying.

This is not a Greek food in any way, whatever !! Stales bread terrible dips, bosses seem to be pretty confused. The only court that was edible would be the baked lamb and even the average.
Posted on 2 November for a party for 20 people on 10 December. This was confirmed by e-mail. It should be a surprising birthday dinner. Grief Grief They call today (28 November) to say that there is no room, as they now have a bigger booking. This seems to be booked in October. But why did not you tell me when I tried to book. Why did you confirm my booking ????? Grief Grief Now I am with 20 guests and no venue for a 55th birthday dinner, which is no longer a surprise because the call was impaired on the birthday girl. Grief Grief I am very angry and disappointed. You have totally spoiled this opportunity for us. Grief Grief Warning: Do not trust you !!! You accept a bigger booking and throw out when you suits you.
Had the Zorba meat platter for 2 this evening. My initial complaint after it was served was that this platter for 2 looked very small. I was told that is what it is. It came with a small Greek salad to be shared. It didn't look yummy at all. Unfortunately the taste was the same. A few chunks of meat pieces; chicken, lamb and beef you can hope. I have been to many restaurants in my life and this is one of the biggest food disaster experiences for me so far. At the checkout I complaint about my bad experience while paying the totally over-priced $69 for this platter, I was told that I could have returned it and ordered something else. Well my bad. The crown takes that my friend barely made it to his car. He got stomach cramps and diarrhea. Maybe unrelated, who knows. I feel unwell too and will see how the night pens out. This place never again for me.
This restaurant is incredible! The food is absolutely delicious. Everything we tried exceeded our expectations. The service was also exceptional.
