A review of the restaurant highlights a mix of experiences. Some diners found the food to be generally good but were disappointed by specific dishes such as the dry jamon and tough carrot terrine. Others praised the location, decor, and friendly staff, with one reviewer mentioning the inspiration of the menu. The restaurant is described as a great spot for gatherings, with a beautiful bush view and delicious food. While some felt a bit out of place due to the lack of diversity in the clientele, others enjoyed the attentive service and homely atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a pleasant dining experience with a few minor flaws in the food quality.

Beautifully situated café in Mosman with a beautiful ambience and interior. The menu is fresh and delicious with a wide selection of the selection. It's a bit effort to actually come to this cafe, but as soon as you do it, it's absolutely worth it. I would come more often if it was not such a trek! View all feedback.
What Tania Conn dislikes about Burnt Orange:
Nice food, lacklustre service, terribly noisy, too many small children in a relatively expensive restaurant makes for a less than pleasant experience for other diners. View all feedback.
Amazing place surrounded by beautiful views of the harbour. Seating is on a open covered verandah with great service. We ordered the coffee and it was perfect! The food was overall amazing. The spanner crab eggs Benedict is a must try and was perfectly balanced. The Trout frocasia however was on the salty side and not very nice.
One of the most beautiful settings on the North shore. Views of the ocean and headland at a distance lead you to forget that you are in Sydney. The food is amazing and well presented. Worth your time.
A handsome brunch place, perfect for appointments, family or friends. A popular place for birthdays, baby showers and parties. Great food and beautiful bush view.
High Tea was delicious and plentiful! Unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate included in $60pp which is great value compared to other places. Views are beautiful too! Pay parking available a short walk away, but you do need to go up a slight hill and then some steps.
Very friendly and attentive staff. We ordered the wagu beef burger and some ice lattes. The coffee was really good and the burger was good too but for that price we expected more of a wow factor. The venue is at a nice location and there is some water views but it’s kind of hidden by the trees. You would be better off doing the walking trail to see the epic water views. Nevertheless, this venue was on my list of places to visit, so I’m glad I gave it a go.
