Wow, my husband and I just got home from Guido's oven pizza. I want to share our culinary experience. At first, this restaurant has developed for a few years. We were warmly welcomed by one of the owners, Nic Galfano, which made us feel right at home. His father and grandfather have been involved in the Italian food business for decades, adding to the authenticity of the experience. It's hard to sum up everything we enjoyed, but I have to mention the Polenta—it was outstanding, and I wish I could get my hands on that family secret recipe! I also tried to pry the meatball recipe from the chef, but no luck there. However, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. Additionally, they had a great selection of craft beers on tap. It’s wonderful to have such a lovely family restaurant in our neighborhood!
The food was tasty, but the service left something to be desired. The staff was friendly, yet a bit disorganized. I plan to return because the pizza was excellent.
