The food quality at Y-Knot has been declining over the years. We used to frequent this restaurant, but now we find ourselves ordering from elsewhere due to the subpar food. The wings are particularly disappointing, the taste is worse than those from the frozen section at ShopRite. The pizza is inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes not. We hope they improve their menu soon.
I have been living in the Elmhurst area for almost two years now. Occasionally, when I don't feel like driving far, I give Yknot another try. The atmosphere is decent and they have a decent selection at the bar. However, the food is still lacking and the employees are not very hospitable. The pizza is unappetizing and the burgers have not been good lately. The only thing that seems to be working is their fried food. The newer employees seem to have trouble with their workload, being polite, and basic greetings when the experienced staff is not present. I have lost hope for a restaurant with such potential in terms of its building and atmosphere.
LOVE this place! Wings are my favorite but sandwiches and specials are always great as well! The staff is always welcoming, accommodating, friendly and hard-working, and even when they’re at their busiest they make you feel at home. Never a bad experience here and I’ve been coming for years. Try the garlic wings, they’re the best!
Great place to hang out, have some drinks, and delicious food!
