My partner ordered the burger and chips and reported th... read more We had dinner last night with the family in the bistro. Very disappointed with the quality of the meals. My partner ordered the burger and chips and reported the hamburger was burnt and couldn't finish his meal. The rest of the table (6) ordered chicken parmigiana's. First bite of the parmigiana and noted a very strong taste of herbs (oregano?) overpowering and not enjoyable at all, cheap ham and uninspiring tomato sauce. Everyone at our table commented the same. The kids smothered the parmigiana's in gravy to try and disguise the taste but no one finished the meals. The bottom of the parmigiana's were not cooked properly either and soggy. A very sad looking wilted salad on the side. On a plus the chips were nice, best thing on the plate, would have been better if they were hot. The staff were friendly and helpful though which was also a plus.Haven't been to the pub for a few years after having meals missed and poor quality food and probably won't go back again after these meals.
