We decided to order the fried lamb cutlet and a chicken schnitzel. The portions were generous, although the lamb was slightly overcooked. The vegetables and salads were fresh, and the batter on the schnitzel was exceptionally crispy and delicious. The diane sauce was particularly tasty, though I wish they had provided us with more. The accompanying hot chips were crunchier and superior to those at other venues, like the Moruya Bowling Club. The overall atmosphere is pleasant, with a bit of a club/bar vibe, though nothing extraordinary. The place was clean and tidy, but I did notice a lot of bird droppings on the verandah, which was not very appealing.

During our recent visi... read more Our friend Jack Puth has taken over this restaurant, and business has definitely improved. The hardworking chef creates fantastic dishes. During our recent visit, we really enjoyed the dish called the Mermaids Tail, which features Barramundi and prawns served on mashed potatoes with vegetables, all topped with a delicious creamy garlic sauce.

My husband's crumbed cutlets were really overcooked and tough—he couldn't finish the last one. The sticky pork belly was bland and mostly just fat. The lamb ragout had no flavor, and even the fish and chips were overcooked and unenjoyable.

However, even though most of our meals wer... read more The service at this restaurant was excellent and the view overlooking the golf course created a wonderful atmosphere. However, even though most of our meals were generous in size, the four of us who ordered the Steak Oscar found that it was undercooked, with blood pooling on our plates for three of us.
