Never a poor experience at Elis. Coffee is always made quick and tastes so smooth and delicious. Service never fails to be friendly and delightful. Prices are fair, but it's locally brewed and so worth it. Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Charity Grandon dislikes about Eli's Coffee:
Been waiting for more than 30 mins for 2 coffees and 2 hot chocolate’s while the employees are hanging out with each other and laughing-I’ve enjoyed this place in the past but seems they are falling victim to employees not wanting to take work seriously like every other business post Covid. If I could only drink one coffee for the rest of my life, it would be from Elis. Your special drinks could use some work, but the monthly “den” drinks are incredibly creative and tasty. Even my husband, who typically doesn’t like coffee, adores “The Diva,” which is so fitting for him and always makes me laugh when I order it. I usually stick with my reliable choice, the Bohemia, but I've tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all so delicious. I absolutely love the pumpkin apple muffin, and the other options are just as delightful. The location is beautiful, too. Be sure to stop by for great service and fantastic drinks!
I've been to this restaurant twice now. My first experience wasn't great; the drinks lacked flavor, and I didn't really taste any coffee. However, I decided to give it another chance, and I'm glad I did. I went in for one drink and ended up having three because there were just too many enticing options! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the Moroccan Toddy. The Black Cherry Cocoa was unique but absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the cocoa with a kick. I also sampled a variety of baked goods, and their granola bars were excellent, as was the Scotcharoo. Unfortunately, I was let down by the orange poppy seed bread, which didn't have any orange flavor at all.
My wife and I recently visited Eli's Coffee Shop for some hot chocolate and breakfast while staying at my brother's house nearby. We ordered a ham and cheese biscuit sandwich, and we were impressed by the cozy atmosphere of the cafe. The Wi-Fi connection was great, which added to our experience. The staff was friendly, and our service was quite efficient. There's also a more intimate seating area upstairs if you're looking for a bit more privacy.
