If they order an salat with burrata, they expect burrata. If you don't eat meat and choose something without meat, you expect it to be without, right? and I have to say about my order. the burrata warns burrata, eating tasteless. it must be difficult to prepare an salate accordingly. Maybe they shouldn't have a restaurant. and the service is bad, waits 20min for ordering drinks and eating? I'm sorry, not sad, but I expect more.

Found le chaudron down a small next road to main road. the greeting was friendly, and the area is open with typical French land eclectic decor. a good sign was that on a Monday lunch the restaurant was full, with pretty female builders and office people, so it would be a good one. I have tried out a separate Saut-du-Doubs cocktail (champagne and kirschlikör) that was very pleasant. they didn't bring the cherry of my wife, but no problems as our animals arrived as our ancestors. I had the menu chasseur, wild boar terrine followed by venison stew and then a choice from the desert car (tart tropizienne). all were beautifully presented and delicious, and good value at 19,80 € my wife had chèvre chaud salat followed by fried zander, again generous and delicious. the total invoice was €54.70, which we thought was a good one.

Found Le Chaudron facing down a little side street to the main thoroughfare. The welcome was friendly, and the dining area is open with typical French country eclectic decor. A good sign was that on a Monday lunch the restaurant was full, with quite a few farm workers and office people, so it was going to be good value. I tried their own Saut-du-Doubs cocktail (Champagne and cherry liqueur) which was delightful. They failed to bring my wife's Kir, but no problems as our beers arrived straight away, as did our starters. I had the Menu Chasseur, Wild Boar terrine followed by Venison stew and then a choice from the desert trolley (Tart Tropizienne). All were nicely presented and tasty, and good value at €19.80. My wife had Chèvre Chaud salad followed by fried Zander, again generous and tasty. The total bill was €54.70, which we felt was good value.
