For all lovers of unusual stays. The room was very comfortable and accommodated my special needs. Beforehand there was friendly communication with the owners. The half-board dinner was very tasty. Breakfast fine. The best thing was the location. On the outskirts by a small lake, surrounded by trees, with a beautiful terrace. Curse! View all feedback.
What Peter Farnell doesn't like about Auberge Du Bord Des Eaux:
10/02/2013 Arrived in the evening after a long drive from the Alps. The auberge looked like something out of a hill billy movie, situated in a dark wooded area at the end of a drive between a broken down Renault factory and a ramshackle farmyard complete with large hunting dogs which prowled around the car barking . The many separate buildings which housed the bedrooms looked dark, uncared for and uninviting. We did not get out for fear of the dogs and what they might have dropped on the footpath, but left immediately despite the fact that we had paid in advance. I love the rural life and I am no stranger to farms and farming but this was supposed to be a hotel not a farmyard!!.
Very good reception, good plate (not) of the terroir made home and comfortable room.
