The Bbq Spot - MORROW

Decided to stop by to grab dinner. I actually thought it was still Soul delicious. But low and behold it wasn’t. Turkey wings was absolutely horrible, no season or taste at all, they didn’t have a dark spot on them. They should’ve been cooked longer. The collards and cabbage was ok but a little too much salt. Mac n Cheese was ok, I’ve tasted better from ppl who didn’t own a restaurant. The fried ribs was tough, should’ve been boiled to tender them first and the friend. Will never return ever again. Please do better.

This was our first time eating here, and we had to wait almost 2 hours to get our food. This is so ridiculous and not good for business. We will not be returning.

We went expecting it to be soul delicious but it wasn’t. We still decided to stay because the menu had things we liked. My food was personally not good the turkey legs was dry and gravy not seasoned. My mac was watery and just not good. The two stars is for the customer service they were kind .

Update: the review that I wrote below these first few sentences was based off of what I had known the place to be up and till that point but since then I have been back to this restaurant at least three times and the food has been off every single time and I have come to find out that they are under new management and they do not have as big of a variety of food like they used to have. So I say enter at your own risk. You may have a good day you may not. This place doesn't look like much when you walk in I can tell you that but the food is very good I've been here many times and I've only had one bad experience there and the rest of the time has been off the chain. I always have to sit down and let my food settle for a minute because I'm just that stuffed after I eat and I normally don't eat as much as I do when I go there. They just have normal southern home cooked food that taste like you expect it to taste. every once in a while they may have their off day but for the most part it is usually on point and I live an hour away and I drive all the way out there sometimes just to come to this place. And I love how their live band tends to get me cheered up sometimes. As a matter of fact I brung a friend once and that just so happen to be the day that the food was horrible and the Band-Mates made up for it LOL. She enjoyed herself still in spite of the bad food that day. But overall regardless of the Decour the food is good .

It was closed! Not sure of the hours. The information I had said they were open. I'll review again when I can actually get into the place.
