I’ve passed by this restaurant for nearly two years without stopping, but finally decided to try it out when they opened at 6 pm yesterday. I ordered catfish nuggets but was surprised when they brought me a whole catfish instead. The bartender was very friendly, although the other staff seemed to be hanging out in the back, chatting with each other. View all feedback.

The customer service is horrific, they had no rice for the gumbo, no Togo containers for the soup, no pickles for the hamburger, LIKE REALLY!!!!! I only went there because a friend said 2 Chainz owns it. I did see a giant picture of him there on the wall. The furniture is very low budget, and the place is in disrepair. I'm giving it 2 stars based on them being out of half the things they had on themenu, and the waitress overcharging on things. I also need to mention the waitress tried to just give a total amount, without anitemized receipt. I hold that against her, I don't think the entire restaurant is corrupt. It is the responsibility of therestaurant to weed out bad characters. The best part about it was having a dj, in the day time.
Dancing, good food, good friends that keep you laughing and checked. We were celebrating the Tru Diva's Birthday.????
Wow. At first the wait time for the food order was not good. One great thing about this restaurant is the food. Hands down the food made it worth the wait for the food. We met the cook, and the bartender. The salmon was the best, the wings, the salmonchips, the lamb chops, everything we ordered was awesome. The chefs are the BEST! So is the bartender, and the customer service.My club members ask that the entire restaurant is cleaned by a professional company, the exterior of the building is repaired,repair the restrooms.
I usually love this place. I have been here twice. I went during brunch hours so not too many people and I love the seafood grits. However I went today around 1:30pm and the door was locked. The hours reflect the restaurant opened at 11am… I hadfamily and friends with me whom I bragged to about this place. I tried calling both locations but was sent to voicemail. I’mnot returning. It’s too risky to drive across town and the restaurant is closed. That was extremely disappointing!

I email, called and spoke with someone about a party for 10/28/23. Not once was it told to me that it's a fee to host a party here utilizing the booth. Upon arriving and being told that it's a minimum of 2 bottles to sit there. The cheapest bottles are courvosier. Now I have 10 plus people on the way, and we are forced to push wobbly tables together. Play attention to the others' reviews. This could have been avoided. This is a great example of how trying to support black establishment goes wrong. The place is the worst... from beginning to end. The vip section is a joke. Dirty as hell. Couches need to be sewn back together and then washed down in bleach. The floors are dirty. It's just horrible. One bathroom stall out of order.. I wonder for how long. The food... not even picture worthy. The seafood menu is not available at this location..wtf. So the items that we thought we were going to order are not options. Pretty much just bar food available. I am disappointed with the place. I have spoken with Mickey since I left to discuss my concerns. I found flyer online that advertised free party, champagne for 10 plus guest. Nope no one knew of this info.
The DJ was really disappointing. Even when people requested songs and local artists paid her to play their tracks, she refused to do it. Honestly, it was so bad that I left, got in my car, and found the radio was way better.
Only 2 stars because of the drinks. Food was okay but I have eaten since 11am that day I went there to celebrate my friend 's birthday. I won 't be back. . Way overpriced for what I paid. Drinks were the only good thing there. Honestly Old Smith 's bar has better food and drinks. That 's one problem with black owned places (some of them . You hike up the prices but lower the quality of the food. If I 'm going to spend $97 (tip included on 2 drinks( 1 for her and 1 for me 1 shot, (her a salad (her wings and fries(her Jumbo Shrimp (only 6 and they weren 't Jumbo they were large at best. , fries and Coleslaw (never got . (Me . I expect the fries not to be burnt and fries in old grease. I understand why the place was empty and had only 7ish people including my friend and I there.
Tuesday night out riding the bike pull in for wings. Ordered crispy and hot...soggiest wings I've ever eaten. Ever... and sauce was like someone took a bottle of hot sauce and just poured it over the wings. My buddy had regular fried wings, which was as tasteless as they come.But the worse part of the evening was the check...$20 for these soggy a^ wings and fries.After thinking about it, this being a Tuesday, I could've go e to Seven and got some really good wings 5 for $2.2 chains, get to ur restaurant and find out what's going on before it's to late.On this night, the restaurant was bare. So it may be too late already.High price food combined with poor quality food is not good.Call Gordon Ramsey. With the Quickness.
