Carpenter Wine Cellar - Morrisville

I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant. Living in Raleigh, I finally managed to make time for it, but I was very disappointed with how I was treated. When I entered, a worker named Sam, who I found out later, looked right at me without greeting me and continued to play on his phone. I then went to the bar, where the bartender also seemed indifferent, not offering a simple “hello” or “welcome.” I wasn’t expecting much; just a friendly “Hello” or “Can I help you with something?” would have made a big difference. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and I love the wine selection and outdoor seating, but I probably won’t be returning.

Sam was an outstanding and informative bartender. He truly demonstrates how much this establishment values its customers. Cheers, and I will definitely be returning!

Carpenter Wine Cellar wouldn't be the same without Sam. He is an exceptional bartender who truly understands the needs of his customers. He is patient and treats everyone with respect and care, making him a fantastic host. I always enjoy being at CWC when I'm there alone, and I wish he worked there every day. I consistently recommend my friends to visit CWC when Sam is on duty because they will have the best experience possible.

I love this place! They have an incredible selection of beer and wein. There is something for everyone here, no matter what you like. sam an der bar is amazing. he is super chill and everything he recommended that I try it was great. there is a really cool mood, and sam contributes definitiw to it. they can come alone or with a group and always have a good experience. this is definitely one of my new favorite places to get a beer and have a good evening.

I loved this place when it was triangle wine and just visited for the first time since it became carpenter wine. I have to say it's such a big upgrade! there are much more seats inside than before, and they still have the outside seats. there is a great selection of wines from all over the world. the personal was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me make my choice. they now have a weinclub where they get 2 bottles of wein per month, with pickup parties when they go to pick up their bottles. they also have trivia nights and wine tastings. they can bring outside eating what is great because the Indian restaurant next door too well smelled to resist. it was great to take my Indian food into the hand and eat while I enjoyed a glass of wine. I was looking forward to the cheese caffeine that is shown in another review, but it wasn't there.
