The restaurant is a very rustic masculine but cool place. Staff was sweet and hostess got us a table on a Friday night without a reservation. I did get hit in the back of the head by one of the servers, but everyone makes mistakes. Things went downhill when we received our food and drinks. This is our go to place for celebrations or a fancy meal. The oysters are a must have along with the porterhouse. The cocktail menu is well crafted and the desserts are big enough to share.
Our waiter, Jake took excellent care of us. He took his time explaining the food and wine menu to us even though it was a very busy Saturday night.
Nothing to say except AWESOME!!! A+ in every facet. Steak was great! Phenomenal wine selection!
Roots is our go to place to take friends for a good steak. It is a bit loud for lunch which isn’t great when you are with a larger group and need to talk.The popovers are amazing and a perfect way to start the meal. I had a salmon salad which came with tons of arugula. The service was 5 star our waiter was awesome. The desserts are ridiculously large. Definitely share or you will be gaining 10lbs. LOL.
