Rod's Steak Seafood Grille - Morristown

I do not recommend this restaurant to others. I had high expectations based on the reviews and recommendations I had seen, but my dining experience was disappointing. My date and I arrived at 6:38 but did not receive our meal, two steaks, until 8:00 p.m. The service was lackadaisical and our server disappeared on us at several points. We noticed that other guests with larger parties and orders were served before us and received more attention. The food was not worth the wait or the price compared to other steakhouses with dry aged cuts. The beef was unseasoned and bland.

The food service at this restaurant was fantastic. Dining in the train car was a truly special and unforgettable experience.

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from my wife's college friend. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively with the option to dance, and the prices were very reasonable (so affordable that I felt like I had struck gold), making it a must-visit restaurant. Despite being crowded, the food was served promptly. As I was driving, I opted not to drink alcohol and simply savored the food. I personally loved the filet mignon, though my wife preferred the lobster.

This restaurant is a lovely spot for a meal out! It did get a bit noisy at times, but the lobster mac and cheese was absolutely fantastic. The service was great and we enjoyed a nice dinner there. The price per person was between $30-50.
