Playa Bowls - Morristown

First time eating here. We got two PURA VIDA bowls, with no honey. Cost each $12.50 The strawberries and blueberries were fresh and good, but not outstanding. The purple goopy base (presumably the açaí berry) had a lot of frozen chunks in it which while refreshing on the hot day we tried it, isn't all that pleasant on the palate and did not seem right, but with no prior experience I can't say for sure. It was overall pleasant, other than the frozen base parts, and had a decent helping of actual fruit. A sweet treat but I think the 4-5X food cost retail is a a bit too high. Note: Parking can be tough here. We can make these better at home for considerably less (as well as better tasting and without the frozen base bits) but we might back if the mood strikes,

Yesterday I was with my family in South Jersey and I ordered a Salmon Avocado bowl that was very delicious, today I tried to order it for delivery in Dover, NJ. I called the nearest Bowls Beach location which is Morristown then. I proceeded to order my food over the phone and the girl who answered the phone made fun of my accent and asked me to repeat my order. I repeated it and she told me that this is not chipotle and I communicated with the manager. When she communicated with the manager, I could continue to hear the girl laugh at me in the background. The store manager asked me to repeat my order, after Update: After emailing the formal complaint to the Morristown location they never responded. doing so, he laughed and told me that I called the wrong place and he proceeded to hang up the call. So far this is the rudest racist attention I have received in my life. No one has the right to laugh at your client 's accent, it is disrespectful to the Latino community and if they did not understand the order that I am requesting, it is definitely not the fault of a client that you do not instruct your workers everything that Playa bowls have on the menu. Great new location in Morristown on the green. Join their rewards program and order ahead to avoid wait times. The Pura Vida Acai bowl is delicious!

Acai bowls and employees themselves are great. Employees have been working in 82 degree temperature as boss will not fix AC in summer heat. Max indoor temperature for businesses is 76 degrees. Legally and ethically this is wrong. Edit as owner responded: as mentioned, employees do a great job. But a business that doesn't provide safe, cool working conditions for its employees should not receive a good review.

Made a few minor tweaks to the Pura Bida bowl. Team was happy to accommodate and bowl was delicious.
